The Role (Senior Copywriter)
The Senior Copywriter will be an integral part of the creative department, responsible for all copy produced for one or more brands, depending on how much he or she can take up. The right candidate will be a big idea thinker and a highly skilled crafter of words who is flexible in writing for multiple clients, in varying mediums.
The Responsibilities (Senior Copywriter)
- Translating creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy.
- Collaborate closely with the Art team throughout concept development, presentation, and execution.
- Adhere to consistent use of language and strategies across multiple components of a campaign by demonstrating advanced copywriting expertise across a variety of marketing executions including but not limited to, advertising, marketing collateral, direct mail, and digital communication.
- Interacting with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics.
- Maintaining high standards of copywriting and exercising quality control on all copies.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations. Represent the agency at client meetings and social events as required.
- Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects.
- Lead the copy team in the development of concepts and execution of all projects from conception to completion.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a copywriter for B2B / B2C in an advertising or digital agency environment (including experience in mainline copywriting, digital media, and content marketing)
- Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
- Good at strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse writing demands
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
- Sound understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements
- Openness to constructive criticism and flexibility with regard to adaptation and modification
- A bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
